THE ORIGIN OF THE RACES:
There are 300 officel recognized breeds in the FCI (Fédération Cynologique Internationale ). In the Netherlands not all 300 breeds are present in our country. But our country has a large number of varieties. And if you put all the breeds in a row you can almost unimaginable that they all decended from the wolf. From the outside they all look different but from the inside they all have the same skeleton model. By the different species in the wolf kind, there's now a different dog breeds.
The man was not so far in the genetics, but now already able to breed certain characteristics. Also by climatic and geological conditions arose by natural selection differences between the dogs. Slowly came breeds with their own type and behavior. The oldest recognizable dog breeds are the Greyhounds and the Mastiff dogs. In ancient Egypt and western Asia are the images that are likely descended from a few thousand BC. Mastiffs were used in Roman arenas to fight and Greyhounds were mainly due to the speed used for hunting, while the heavier, truculente Mastiff were used as war and guard dogs. There was also embalmed in Egypt, archaeologists found small dogs, which served as a burial gift to the dead, these small dogs have much of today's dachshunds and the Teckel. The Spartans even had dogs that circled the wild and trembeld with excitement in the present of the hunter.
Some dog breeds are so very old, but most are created in the last few centuries.
When the man stopped to travel and begon to setle . And they engaged farming, there was an other need for dogs with different properties. This gave the dog except for hunting other tasks, large dogs were used for guarding herds of dwellings, small harmless dogs were kept as home, garden and kitchen dogs.
Also by changes in the hunt there was the need to different types of dogs. Other hunting techniques and other prey that was hunted, the dogs were used not only for the prey to chase, but were now used to track the wild (Beagles) in the field to be designated (Pointing Dogs) from cover to hunt (spaniels), to retrieve (retrievers), or to drive from underground shelters (terriers). Through selection by human you got some dogs who looked the same by appearances but you couldn't speak of breeds. Until the nineteenth century were mainly being used as hunting dogs - shepherds-exaggerating - watch and guard dog breed, only later when the dog wasn't as importented for working , thats when people started to look for appearance. Thats when the races were being born.
Man is always discovering more good qualities in the dog and that's when the dogs get more jobs. In the police today the dog is used often to help, even the blind guide dog is very useful. Less well known and newer SOHO, a dog specially trained to help the disabled in daily life. One of the latest discoveries is a dog who warns his boss for an epileptic seizure, it can take measures in time so it's owner doesn't get hurt.

PEDIGREE OF THE DOG HOUSE:
There were in the past, and probably still are doubts about the descending of the dog we know now . It has been proposed earlier from the wolf, the coyote and the jackal were the ancestors of the dog. Today, most scientists agree that only the wolf is the ancestor of the domestic dog.
The behavior and the construction is most similar to that of the wolf. Matings of the dog with the wolf bring almost always fertile descendants, while with the jackal or the coyote is rarely the case.
In the wild dogs and coyotes do not intersect with each other, dogs and jackals are very occasionally, but wolves and dogs do. The Saarloos Wolfdog is even a breed that was created by crossing a German Shepherd female and a wolfmale. Yet it is not entirely ruled out that other wild canids, in addition to the wolf, but have impacted on the dog. As it is thought is the case with the that of the Basenji.

WOLF DOG TO:
If the transition between wolf and dog just took place is difficult to say, it is certain that this man has played a major role. Probably drew wolf and the dog for more than 15,000 years with each other, and it seems that the oldest fossil that is certainly a dog, is 14,000 years old. When man traveled and lived by hunting, they lived in the same environment as the wolf. There are several theories about how and why the man and the wolf have met.
The warmth and food in human camps will probably have attracted the wolf, so they become familiar with humans, and that man tolerated the wolf, because they were warned of danger and they cleaned up the waste. Or maybe there were wolves boy found abandoned nests, and man, softened by the sweet snouts, try to educate the wolfs. Through various studies it is known that wolf puppies aren't too hard to tame, though adult wolves continue to be unpredictable.
The wolves who were tamed remained and crossed, so that the wolves in the camp were becoming less wild. If a group of wolves continued living near the human, it is likely that the group has become so isolated from his wilder peers, so they developed differently behavior than the wolves that were not in the present of the humans.
Only later were the outstanding hunting qualities of the wolf hunt probably discovered, and the wolf was taken on the hunt.Probebly thats when the humans started crossing wolves with certain characteristics.

History of The Dobermann
The Dobermann is in 1901 for the first time in our country as breed appointed. In 1900, the liquor manufacturer Otto Göller because it ensured that by Karl Friedrich Louis Dobermann (photo far left) in the German working dog in the German pedigree dog for registration. Mr Dobermann has put the principles of what became the Dobermann of now .He was looking for a dog who knew no fear temperament, hardness, courage and fighting spirit possessed.
His character and intelligence had to make him the ideal and guard dog .
The appearance of the dog was not for Mr Dobermann not so importent. As tax collector he searched for a dog who could go to work with him and could protect him because he always had money on him. In 1900 the tax collectors we're not so popular. The Dobermann was considered initially registered in the studbook as Thuringian Pinschers.

Later, when Otto Göller (see picture) and Goswin Tischler started tinkering with the appearance of Dobermann was a tribute to the original breeder of the variety name Dobermann given. The first Dobermann's had a height less than 60 cm, were coarse in appearance and certainly lacked the noble appearance that they have now. Even these dogs were not short hairs. Early the Dobermann's style were often in the shoulders and strong overbuilt. The color of the dogs were vague.
Admittedly, the first recognized was black & Tan color but soon followed by a recognition of the brown & red and blue red brown variety. In the first year even a white patch and gray tolerated under her on the forehead tollerated.

In the beginning, there were doubts about the colors of the breed "Dobermann". There was not a solid color and many colors were permitted. All those doubts and confusion and inconsistencies found were more than offset by the fabulous characters of the dogs. This is probably also the cause that the Dobermann in such a short time have become popular. Within 10 years appeared on the show in Cologne as many as 142 Dobermans.
In the Netherlands, the breed didn't go that fast. It was Mr A. Laane, a Dutchman who first Dobermann released at the exhibition. That was in 1901 in Rotterdam. This Doberman was bred by Otto von Thuringia Troll Göller viz. This dog was the beginning of a series imported from the Dobermann's Kennel Von Thüringen.te Apolda (Germany). The first Dutchman who started to breed Dobermann's was Mr. Court in The Hague. He did so with the combination of gutta von Thuringia Erbgraf von Thuringia. This litter is apparently a good nest was because different dogs achieved great successes even under German judges.
The real breakthrough of the Dobermann in the Netherlands came after the outbreak of the first World War broke. Germany were to busy with the war than with breeding Dobermans. Further the war progressed there was less food deficit and remained so little for the dogs.
That's why, in those days many excellent German Dobermann in the Netherlands. It provided excellent material for the Dutch breeders and so could become a firm foundation for breeding in the coming years.

Some members took this the wrong way because they could not find them guidelines of the NDPC. They decided to go together and so in 1927 founded the DVIN. An association that over the years has fully deployed to the Dobermann looks and publicizing it now has.The DVIN committed to all Doberman owners in the Netherlands and regularly organizes shows and events. For those who like the Doberman family friend and companion animals have annual events and walks are organized.
